On November 3, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, met with representatives of the legislative body of the Republic of Argentina.
The discussions focused on issues related both to the bilateral agenda and to the strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation. The sides also touched upon topics concerning the peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington, as well as regional developments.
Views were exchanged on the issue of prisoners and illegally detained persons held in Azerbaijan. The importance of addressing the matter of those considered missing was also emphasized.
