On November 11, the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, met with the heads of diplomatic missions of EU member states accredited in Armenia.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion took place regarding the Armenia-EU partnership and various issues related to deepening relations at the parliamentary level. The discussions focused on the developments in Armenia, the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and developments in the region.
Alen Simonyan also drew the ambassadors’ attention to the issue of captives held in Azerbaijan, as well as persons being held illegally and those considered missing.
The President of the National Assembly of Armenia also answered questions raised by the ambassadors of EU member states.
