Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reiterated on Thursday that his administration is working daily to secure the release of the remaining Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan.
“I can only repeat what I have said before,” he stated at a press briefing when asked to comment on the issue. “We have been working practically every day on this topic. And as long as there is no result that would be obvious, I cannot say anything more, especially due to the highly sensitive nature of the matter,” Pashinyan said.
Azerbaijan has officially acknowledged that it is still holding 23 Armenian POWs.
