A meeting took place in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, between Mario Nalpatian—ARF-Dashnaktsutyun representative to the Socialist International and Vice President of the Socialist International—and Pedro Sánchez, President of the Socialist International and Prime Minister of Spain, who was on an official visit to Uruguay.
During the meeting, the two discussed Armenia’s domestic political developments, regional security issues, as well as the protection of the rights of Armenian detainees held hostage by Azerbaijan and the right of the people of Artsakh to return to their homeland.
